What’s included?
Bed linens, kitchen utensils and cooking pots/pans, outdoor charcoal grill, microwave, refrigerator, stove and TV.
What do I need to bring?
Towels, personal soaps, food, charcoal for grill
What kind of wildlife is nearby?
The bear population is growing in the area, so cover your garbage. It has been known for a bear to wander through the property, although rare. White-tail deer, bald eagles, ospreys and a wide variety of beautiful birds, fish and small animals are your neighbors at Clearwater Resort.
What if I don’t want to cook?
There is a wide variety of quality restaurants ranging from pizza to gourmet within a 5 minute drive. Or enjoy excellent food at the popular, casual restaurant right on our grounds.
How many piers do you have?
You enjoy the shared use of 3 piers.
How far are the cottages from the water?
The waterfront cottages are approx. 70’ from the water. The other two cottages are only about 200’ away with lake views.
How about pets?
We do allow pets on a case by case decision. If you have a well behaved, non barking dog that gets along with others, they are welcome along with a $35/per dog/per week charge.
How many people can the cottages hold?
2 bedroom cottages will comfortably sleep 4 adults, 3 bedroom cottages will sleep 6 adults. Some cottages have pull out couches that can be used for an additional per person charge.
Can I bring my own boat?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own boat if you choose. We do have an older pontoon boat that is available for shared use among our renters for no charge. On Saturday the tank is filled, if you empty it, refilling is appreciated.
What about firewood?
We provide a generous supply of firewood for your use free of charge.
Is the beach good for swimming?
Yes we maintain a sandy beach for your enjoyment; however, there is no lifeguard, so swimming is at your own risk. |
